From the Director

"The real questions are the ones that obtrude upon your consciousness whether you like it or not, the ones that make your mind start vibrating like a jackhammer, theones that you 'come to terms with' only to discover that they are still there. The real questions refuse to be placated. They barge into your life at the times when it seems most important for them to stay away. They are the questions asked most frequently and answered most inadequately, the ons that reveal their true natures slowly, reluctantly, most often against your will."

--Ingrid Bengis

I'd like to thank Hose & Britches for this wonderful opportunity. Hose & Britches has a special place in my heart. When I look back and see how my life has changed since I was cast in Crimes of the Heart two years ago, I am amazed to see how integral the women of Hose & Britches have become to my life. They have become more than just friends and theatre compatriots. They have become my family.

I'd like to thank the cast for their dedication and hard work. Thank you for putting your trust in me and allowing me to be your guide. You've made this a very special show.

Also thanks to Linda Shaffer, Jay Irwin, and Terry Swink for your hard work and coming along for the ride. Thank you to Driftwood Players for continuing this partnership with Hose &and Britches. Thanks to my family for their continual support of my love of theatre. Thanks to Nadie Trenton, Bill & Cynthia Johnson, Dave Tucker, Michelle Patrick, and Melody Guinta.

Thank you to Diane for inspiring me every day.
